Considering that BMW
has viewed the world the new G42 generation 2 Series, the 2023 BMW M2 will actually be the next excitement. Just because this model car is still a way out doesn’t mean that we have no some clues to what everyone expect.

A New Platform
M2 series come with the CLAR platform that has already been updated and upgraded along with a 12% increase in stagnant torsional inflexibility. Truly, most of M2 series components are shared with the current 3 series and 4 series model. This way, M2 will likely bring some key adjustments as the improved 50-50 weight distribution handles the standard car well.
There is an expectation about the addition of a stiffer suspension and sticky wires along with the proper M different outback. Based on the spy photo, the changes highlight the typical quad exhaust layout, reworked fascia and the wider fenders.
About fascia, the posted images seem highlighting the potential mock-up of the front end appearance. This way, there is not enough signals derived recently because the images haven’t been verified like the genuine BMW components.
A Suitable M Powertrain
Based on AutoCar report, 2023 BMW M2 will likely to come with the same engine with that of the current M lineup. This way, the model used 3.0-liter in-line six debuted in BMW X3 M and X4 M models. In this case, the current M car is completed with the twin-monoscroll turbocharges, a new crankcase design, reworked heads and more efficient injection system.
This engine is considered good for about 410hp for the standard M2 while the other more powerful M2 CS type could get as much as 430hp. It is expected that the engine will be design with the mated to both a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Interior
Our spy photographers were managed to successfully capture a few images of 2023 BMW M2 interior. This model is viewed as a sport car with the compact design featuring some different hardware. This is related to the infotainment screens.
The standard 2 series model is added with 8.8-inch center stack and 5.1-inch display in front of the driver no matter how different the things look in M2 model. Further, the interior change includes the larger wraparound screen that is visible on this prototype.
Pricing
There is no official confirmation about the price that the consumers want to know. However, the 2023 BMW M2 is predicted to start the price respectively at $60,000.
