Although there won’t be any grandeur or major changes for the 2024 Honda Accord, it’s still exciting to wait on the next development. The Accord would be a refreshed, but still with the carryover style. After all, the Accord had experienced a tad redesigned the previous year, so it’s only common to expect a little refreshment, which would be happening on the outside as well as the inside of the new Accord.
When it comes to Accord, you can only expect affordability, value, safety, performance, and reliability. Even with the base trim, you can still find the necessary equipment as the standard. If you are willing to spend extra, then you can expect a luxury-look-alike experience and look for the higher trim. Expect the 2024 model to be unveiled in 2023.
The Exterior Refreshment Work
Basically, the attractive body styling will stay – and so does the handsome design. The sedan is already good looking, but we won’t refuse wider and better grille with more attractive front fascia. Starting from the Sport trim (and higher), the sedan would come with low beam and LED high headlights. There would also be LED fog lights, which would make the sedan sportier. The curved rear roofline will deliver a fastback appearance, which makes it super stylish. For the trunk, it should be around 16.7 cubic feet.
The future concept is about delivering modern and edgy style without compromising the function. Accord has been proven to be a solid family ride, so why changing it? But of course, Honda is able to tweak the exterior appearance to make it more attractive and less outdated.
The Interior Touch up
The same tad improvements would also taking place inside the cabin. The 2024 Honda Accord will still be roomy and spacious, where passengers on the back can enjoy generous headroom and legroom. So far, Accord has been quite satisfying with the arrangements on the interior and no one is complaining about it. So, Honda is continuing the same arrangement, but with more premium materials and more decorative aspects. Better technologies and safety features should be expected from the 2024 model.
The company stated that the upcoming Accord would be coming with more appealing and aesthetic interior furnishings. For the lower trims, expect cargo space (reaching up 17 cubic feet) and comfortable clothing seats.
There would be Accord hybrid along the production. Despite the electric components, expect the Accord to still have enough space for the cargo. All the models would include Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, 8.0 inch of touchscreen display, and more. On the higher trims, there would be premium audio system with 450W amplifier and 10 speakers set.
Powertrain and Performance
The lineup would start with four cylinder turbocharged unit of 1.5 liter capacity that is able to generate 192 hp. If you want to save up fuel, this unit would be the perfect pick. There is another option, the four cylinder turbo unit with 2.0 liter capacity that is producing 252 hp, paired with auto 10 speed transmission. The latter one is more favorable, not only because it is punchier, but because it is also smoother.
For the hybrid version, it would be likely using the Atkinson cycle engine that is paired up with 2 electric motors. The standard feature would be the front wheel driving system, although you can always upgrade it to the all wheel driving system.
Price and Release Date
Expect the Accord to be available somewhere in 2023. One of the engine would be e-HEV hybrid technology, which means that the price may be higher than the regular Accord. The base trim is predicted to set at around $25,000 with standard features. The higher trims, like the Touring, would be more premium and it costs around $38,000. Let’s wait for the details of 2024 Honda Accord, shall we?
