The GV60 Performance is capable of reaching 60 mph in 3.7 seconds when this driving mode is selected. While cruising in the GV60, the cabin remains whisper quiet, however, when the driver encounters a stretch of winding road, the driver will be impressed with the GV60’s athleticism and confidence, which will inspire the driver to accomplish any task at hand with confidence.

Styling and Smart Looks of the Exterior

The styling of any Genesis vehicle is pretty unique and is very different than any other car in the market, so this car also retains the company’s signature style. Genesis sticks to its design playbook for the GV60’s exterior design, which was carried over from the GV80 and GV70. There are no obvious creases on the SUV’s body, and the roofline resembles that of a coupe.

Among the features of the brand’s new models is its clamshell hood, designed to eliminate lines on the vehicle’s front end, making it appear sleeker and more modern. In addition, Genesis says that the SUV will have a wider crest grille to help cool down its high voltage batteries, which will be fitted to the SUV.

Despite the styling being recognizable as Genesis, the GV60 gets unique elements that signal its EV status. A chrome line runs from the top of the A pillar to the C pillar that signals the car’s status as an electric vehicle. As the driver approaches the vehicle, one of the electric doors handles pops out, which can be controlled by a remote control.

High Tech Interior Design

As Genesis quotes the Interior design is a “Beauty of White Space”. The Cabin of the car has a lot of space. It has been designed to provide a more open environment to its occupants as a floating console, a slim cockpit, and a flat floor. Located on the console, there is an electronic gear selector that looks like a transparent crystal sphere that indicates when it is time to drive the vehicle. In the event that the vehicle is off, the sphere provides ambient lighting to the surrounding area.

Genesis is taking some chances here and has incorporated a number of cool motifs and features into the car, such as the switch that reverses when in the park and has the appearance of a crystal ball when it is in reverse.

It is also possible to unlock and start the vehicle without the need for a key by using a facial recognition system on the GV60, which is another innovative feature that makes the vehicle stand out from the competition. As part of the SUV’s design, other biometric techs such as fingerprint readers are also incorporated in order to increase security and privacy.

Infotainment and Connectivity features of the Genesis GV60

In all GV60 models, both the infotainment screen and the digital gauge cluster share a panel that measures 12.3 inches, so that all models have a large 12.3 inch screen for the infotainment system. Despite the fact that neither Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto works wirelessly, both are included in the package.

A click wheel is positioned on the center console of the Genesis which can be used to control the infotainment system if it proves to be difficult to reach the screen itself by touching it. There is a Bang & Olufsen stereo system included as a standard feature, which is a nice feature that most rivals will charge you an additional fee for.

Maintenance and the Warranty of the Genesis GV60

In comparison with other premium auto brands, Genesis offers a comprehensive warranty coverage that lasts much longer than that of many other brands. There are 10 years or 100,000 miles of powertrain coverage and three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance included with the GV60. Ten years or one hundred thousand miles are covered by the Powertrain warranty.

The warranty on the vehicle is covered for a period of 5 years or 60,000 miles and complementary maintenance is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles

Pricing and availability of the Genesis GV60

Genesis has not officially announced any date for the cars but the representatives of the company say that they will soon reveal all the technology, performance, official pricing, and the launch very soon this year.

The pricing can be guessed from the company’s previous pricing traits and from other cars from rival brands with the same kind of specifications. The pricing is thus estimated to be somewhat near $60,000 to $65,000.

By the end of 2022, it is anticipated that the GV60 will arrive in North America, and by the start of next year, it will arrive in other countries as well.
