Porsche’s redesigned Panamera will be more of an update than a new model, because it will continue to build on the MSB platform that supports Bentley’s Continental and Flying Spur models. A new range of power-train should be available on this car.
There will likely be more power, but the updates to the power-train are expected to focus on reducing emissions across the board, as well as extending the range of plug-in hybrids and reducing charging times. Porsches typically have subtle styling changes, but these will be subtle, as well. A notable change is the square shaped headlights, seen on both the 2024 Porsche Panamera and 2023 Porsche Cayenne. It is also planned to redesign the Taycan’s interior to match its high tech interior.
Uniqueness of 2024 Porsche Panamera
Porsche Panamera interiors will be minimalistic, as shown by other Porsche prototypes. There have already been fewer buttons on Porsche cars, but the next model will follow the Taycan concept in which the center console mounted shifter has been replaced with a shaver like piece on the left side of the dashboard.
In which case, the generation three 2024 Porsche Pananmera, is expected to have twin turbocharged 2.9 liter V6 and 4 liter V8 engines, and 48V mild-hybrid assistance. Latest software updates and infotainment will be available in Porsche’s next generation of models as well.

It seems clear from the interior designs that the 2024 Panamera will adopt a few key features and technologies from the Taycan. It has a fully digital gauge pack instead of the old car’s hybrid digital and analogue gauges. Just like the Taycan, the driver will be able to adjust the view, just like Porsche’s trademark five-clock layout.
In this prototype, the climate control knobs and touch-sensitive buttons are still present in the central tunnel, but they aren’t flanking the gear lever like they are on the current generation Panamera. On the current generation model, the electronic park brake is also replaced by a starter button. With this prototype’s dashboard so similar to Taycan’s, the next generation Panamera may also offer a screen for the front passenger. As is typical for development prototype vehicles, the rest of this prototype’s interior is covered in black sheets.
Exterior Design of 2024 Porsche Panamera
The exterior design of this new-generation model seems to be more evolutionary than revolutionary. Porsche has kept the Panamera’s four door lift back formula for 2024, but updated its styling with Taycan style LED headlights and a thin, full width light bar at the rear. A black camouflage covering the chrome door trim has been cleverly painted around the side of the vehicle, covering up the squarer rear door lines.
New headlights with a different lighting signature distinguish this Panamera prototype from its current counterpart, along with a larger main air intake and more pronounced side intakes. As with the current generation Panamera GTS, Turbo S, and Turbo S E-Hybrid, this prototype appears to retain a double daytime running light or indicator signature. Furthermore, the fuel filler cap is round instead of square like the current Panamera. It appears that the rear hatch is shaped in a more squared-off manner around the back.

Engine of 2024 Porsche Panamera
What Porsche will do with this new Panamera engine lineup is unclear. The prototype sounds like it is emanating the deep soundtrack of a V8 engine. This car powers on with 243kW of power and 450Nm of torque from a 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 engine.
Additionally, the power-train is available as a plug-in hybrid with an electric motor and a 17.9 kWh lithium battery pack, delivering 340kW or 412kW combined. GTS and Turbo S are also available with 4 liters twin-turbo V8 engines producing 353kW and 620Nm, respectively.
The legendary Turbo S E-Hybrid range will also make way for a new-generation version of the 4E-Hybrid, as well as the 4S E-Hybrid. There will also be more generous battery packs and electric motors in the systems due to a beefed-up electrical side.
Transmission & Performance of 2024 Porsche Panamera
This model uses a six cylinder engine that produces 325 horsepower at 5,400 rpm and 331 lb-ft of torque at 1,800 rpm. From 0 to 60mph in just 5.3 seconds, the car can reach 270 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 270 km/h.
Considering it can be used for everyday activities, we think its performance is decent. The 2024 Panamera is unexpected to change much from the 2023 model.
Infotainment & Connectivity of 2024 Porsche Panamera
There are many advanced features that must be equipped in the 2024 Panamera when it comes to infotainment. The phone has a 12.3-inch full HD screen with touchscreen capabilities. In addition to Android Auto and Apple Car-Play connectivity, this car infotainment system must also support Android Auto.
You can rely on Porsche Communication Management or PCM for navigation, mobile phone preparation, audio interfaces, and voice control. PCM simplifies navigation and entertainment management. Panamera owners will benefit from Porsche’s PCM 6 infotainment system, which was already available on various models, including the current Panamera. Panamera passengers will get their own screen mounted above the glove box, according to Porsche.
Release Date & Cost of 2024 Porsche Panamera
The face lifted third generation Cayenne SUV should debut within the next six months, along with the third generation Panamera, which will debut next year as a 2024 model.
A 2022 Panamera with an update version of $89,750 is available on the official Porsche Website. Considering the specifications and performance of the car, this price is ideal. In our opinion, the price won’t increase too much, since we weren’t expecting much change. It might be only $91,000 – $92,000. Early to mid-year of 2024 is the expected release date.
